About Me

Introduction

My name is Trudy Sulyman, and I am a sport-for-development leader and pickleball coach based in Peterborough in the United Kingdom. With a strong foundation in tennis coaching and a deep commitment to community wellness, I am dedicated to using sport as a powerful tool for empowerment, particularly for women and young people. Professional Background

Drawing on my experience in tennis and pickleball coaching and my passion for community wellness, I have committed my career to creating opportunities for others to grow and thrive through sport. As a UK-based leader in the sport-for-development sector and an advocate for pickleball education, I believe that sport can be a catalyst for both personal and social transformation.

I compete in pickleball both within the UK and overseas.

Empowering Women and Youth

Empowering women and youth through sport is at the heart of my mission. I am passionate about providing inclusive and supportive environments where participants can build confidence, develop their skills, and foster lifelong connections. Through my work, I strive to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background or experience, feels welcomed and valued in the sporting community.

The Movement Circle

I am the founder of The Movement Circle and serve as the organiser of junior and senior tennis and pickleball sessions. My work involves creating spaces where movement and mindset intersect, allowing participants to experience the physical, mental, and social benefits of the sport. Whether I am leading a session on the court or engaging with the community online, my aim is to inspire smarter play, stronger skills, and bigger wins, not just in sport, but in life as a whole.  See also Community.
